Other than a handful of pieces I will be cutting for scales and ferrule material, I have added the last of my African Blackwood to the web store.
I will probably get more around the end of summer, but it will be a while.

Just a bit of information about African Blackwood;
African Blackwood is a hard / dense wood that works great for handle material. It is easy to work and takes a very nice polish because of the fine grain and super small pores. At first glance the blocks look black but when direct light hits them at an angle they can show a flash of bronze color. As the wood ages it develops a darker patina. A lot of the knife makers are using Blackwood instead of black Ebony because it is easier to work with and much more forgiving when abused.
