Awesome, Randy!!!!!

KKF readers: yes, the handle may be busy, but this knife has a number of elements that were important to incorporate; consider them symbolic for the person who will be receiving the knife. Randy did a fantastic job pulling it all together, and I can't wait to see it in person. And a huge thanks to Hoss for the ss feather dammy! This one is, and will be, special!

Thanks guys!

Dave its got suck holographic flash in the curl and yet for as green as it is. In person its subtle and inviting looking!

I did get a few pictures of the spine. But the camera was looking at the background so it was out of focus. Sorry. Ill try to get a good spine picture and share it. Its a beautiful distal taper to the tip, and has thorn and vine filework :)

Thank you Hoss.

what is going on here, why isn't this knife coming to Canada? This doesn't seem right at all.

This one fought me all the way.. Yet I prevailed. Which makes the finished knife that much better! The profile is based off a knife in Salty s roll. that he brought here to the hammer in a couple years back. I cant remember what it was. Only that it was one of his favorite petty's. So I took a tracing of the profile. Thanks Salty..

and thanks everyone for the comments! :D

Wow. That is the sexiest petty I have ever seen, bar none. SOOOOOO NICE!! None of the words I just typed do it even vague justice:beatinghead:

The shots of the spine make it look very laid back and organic to the piece. Not a "decorative element" Beautiful knife. I should send you one to copy and improve on. . . . :idea2:

Talk about a total chick knife!

My wife loves it. She was floored by DT's feather damascus, the beautiful carving along the spine, the 3D effect of the dyed wood, and of course the malachite. And the icing on the cake was when she found out the blade is stainless steel so she doesn't need to wash it off right away :cool2:

WOH-WA-WEE-WOW! I love it. File work on the spine is really cool and goes with the pattern soo well. I wonder why I've never seen that on a kitchen knife before? - Just another first from you.
Wow, just a really beautifully executed piece. One of my favorite things that I've ever seen from you.

Thanks Justin. :) Devin's damascus is always a feast for the eyes. and this combination of materials on the handle has significance for my client. Overall this one was a fun project and Im honored to be a part of it! I had hoped for a report or write up from my client on this one. Which I did receive in a email. and they LOVE it! Your gona have to take my word for it lol :)

God Bless

Hey, I posted on the previous page

The petty is getting almost daily use (home use). It has a great profile and a great grind. It's pretty, but is not afraid to work. Have not needed to hit the stones yet; it had a very good sharpening job at HHH and is still gong strong.
