Hi. I'm new to this forum and have a knife I need to know the maker. My mom got it from Japan. Don't know if this is the right sub forum. Also, not sure how to upload pictures. Creation of Sakai-ya Naosuke (or Cyokusuke). Forged with special Steel.

It seems the maker stamp may also indicate the knife was made in Sakai. Never seen or heard of this before but that doesn't say a lot. My knife knowledge is far from encyclopedic.
