Nice icon! However I'd stick with tapatalk pro.

Always afraid my 'What's New?' button will wear out because I click it so often :) But I will check out the app, thanks for pulling us into the techological future...

I would pay some change if the app was available without advertisements.

Perhaps more correctly...

You, in fact, already paid your # of flesh. Why are there still ads?

Whats new is missing... Didn't like the adds

The Tapatalk HD app keeps all my forums in one handy place and it is free of advertisements.
For those reasons I will continue to use that option instead of this.
That said, it is always nice to see other options.

I use the app, I'm on board with the advertisements going, and the "What's New" button, but more importantly... the smilies don't show up! Those are entertaining. :2cents:

Looking for a solution with the App developer now. They have a good support turn around time, but the implementation of new features may be an issue.

Checked it out. Ads and no 'What's New' button sent me back to the full site.

I can see the problem with the new button. It doesn't refresh when you go back to it, even after using other buttons.

Ive been a donor ever since i joined this site largely because of the no ad policy.
Im sure not going to start looking at adds not. Esp on a mobile screen where they're much mire intrusive.

I would be willing to pay for the app if it where better than taptalk pro, but it still has a long way to go. The amount of space dedicated to non-content vs ttp, is pretty poor.

It takes some refinement straight out of the box so to speak.

All I can say is that I love the app. So much easier than trying to browse the website through Apple's Safari on the iPhone.

Some additions I would recommend. Have a setting so that it can notify you about threads you are subscribed to and pm's or pm's only. Also have a setting where the app will update in real time when my phone is connected to wi-fi, but not when it is using my data plan.

Also a problem I am having is that the app will work for an hour or 2 then it will stop working and won't load. It will only show a black screen. Then when I delete it and re-download it it does the same thing. I am using android for what that is worth.

Did you disable using regular tapatalk? I had to reformat my phone and when I reinstalled the TT pro, I can't find KKF with it. When I visit the site, there's the notification at the top to connect with Tapatalk, but upon clicking it, it links to the KKF app instead.

I'd still rather use TT pro over the KKF app, is this not possible?

We are on a branded app now.

There are the links to find your app.

How do I get rid of The banner ad for this app at the top if the screen? It's one thing that it's at the top on this sight but every single page on the www ? The " x " doesn't remove it.

Is there a way to upload a pic from android? (using the kkf app) I looked to try to post a pic on Randy's forum. I couldn't post either through my uploads or straight to the thread. The thread one came up with the pic. I wanted to post, but only a cancel button was present.

Through my profile the only way to post was to change my avatar pic.. That one there was 2 buttons that showed up. Didn't change my pic. to see if it posted.

Tap the 3-dot button in the top right corner and select New Topic or Reply, whichever you are trying to do. Below the text box and above the keyboard are a set of icons.

Tapping the camera icon will bring up your camera to instantly take a photo and add it as an attachment.

Tapping the image icon will access the photos already on your device. Choose the desired photo and select Upload.

The "site not allowed here" is unfiltered on the app. Also is there a way to preview before posting?

Yep I get all the way to the photo I want to upload, going through reply. But there is never a Upload button, just a cancel button.

I have tried on both on a wifi netwok and through normal phone network.

What's the ETA for a WP app?

I would have to find a developer for that platform.

Curious as to how hard that would be, and what a ballpark cost would be(if you don't mind). As a Microsoft shareholder and WP fan I would find it very interesting.

I know it, unfortunately it does cost money to operate the site and that's how it's offset. If you would like to sign up for supporting membership we would be happy to have you.
