Length of Blade: 240 mm heal to tip
Blade Height: 47mm
Thickness of Spine: 3mm at heal, 1.5mm at midpoint, .8mm 1 cm from tip
Grind: convex
Handle: Stabilized Maple burl and African Blackwood
Handle dimensions 140mm Octagonal tapering from 31mmx23mm to 25mmx19mm
Total weight or knife: 229 grams

I really like that maple burl. It looks like it matches the Damascus on the blade.

Well to get things moving and to get into the Holiday spirit, 100% of the proceeds from this knife will be used to "adopt a family" or two and will be spent buying children Christmas presents. I will send the buyer conformation from the local community action program to verify that all funds were used for this purpose.

Not to get all wax poetic here, but that Damascus makes me envision a stream flowing over it's bed of pebbles and rocks. Just looks really cool to me.

Thanks, one of my favorite parts of knife making is etching the Damascus once the blade is finished and seeing the pattern for the first time.
