Thanks everyone. We had a very memorable Christmas. One without electricity!! lol Sunday the power went out here and it stayed out until late Christmas day. Although I had a generator (thank God) by Christmas morning with temp down around -5 degrees range outside, The electric heaters were fighting a loosing battle.. lol

So I packed up the family, food and some supplies and went to the other house where the electric had only came on the night B4. After some creative cooking. We ate or Christmas dinner off paper plates sitting on the floor of the new house. It was a VERY memorable dinner. Served 8 a full turkey dinner including stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and veggies. Using only one electric roaster. one electric skillet and a crock pot. and a few pans that I put on the skillet and was able to make gravy and heat veggies. Turned out pretty good considering.

Yes we had power there. BUT didnt have the new stove plumbed to Natural gas yet... So I had to be creative. ;) Im counting my blessings that the power is back on. Im gona get to sleep in my bed for the first time in 4 nights, and im looking forward to getting back in the shop and grinding some steel.

All in all it was a GREAT Christmas. Just nothing went according to "plan" yet everything went perfectly.. :dazed:

I hope all of you enjoyed some time with friends and family. and had a Merry Christmas!!
