I was given this two old looking knives. Looks like both are carving/slicer knives.

The bigger one has a logo that reads: "EdwinBlyde & Co Sheffield" and it has what it looks like barrel horn handle with stainless caps

The smaller one reads: "Community Plate Stainless Steel" and has a metal handle with a guard

Any information on this blades would be appreciated.
and Few questions.
Do this knives worth anything; does it make sense to try and "restore" them?
Is this curvy shape of the edge a design feature or the result of bad sharpening?

That was my thought as well, but it's as long as the slicer.

For reference, what is the blade length on these?

The form of the bigger one will benefit to pulling when cutting raw meat. Compare:

I did a little work on one of the knives. Re-polished it, thinned a little, put an edge and worked a little on the tip and handle. I think it looks decent now.
It's 9inch blade ~230mm.
