It was definitely somebody's birthday around here. :D

Konosuke 270mm Mioroshi Deba in mirror polished blue steel #2 with an ebony wood handle white buffalo horn ferrule and end cap with a nickle silver spacer.

LOL. I see I'm not the only person who thought there was something borderline pornographic about that video. The long shot of the knife being pulled from the saya was definitely... "inspired." :jumpy:

Update. This thing cuts like a dream. Salmon heads are a joke to this beauty, lops them off with ease. Filleting is ridiculously simple, skinning is a breeze and portioning is no problem at all. Sliced up some cooked duck breast as well. It's basically a deba yanagiba hybrid. Awesome.

I have a Konosuke yanagi that the same stats. 300 blue steel with a mirror polish. Gorgeous knife and a best performer.
