I have to ask--why is your brand called "HHH Knives"? And is it pronounced "H-H-H" or "Triple H"? I'm guessing something to do with your last name, but it's just the two of you.
It's had me :scratchhead:

Eamon, I am often asked the same question. Its "Triple H Knives."

I chose the name when my youngest son Hunter was a baby. I was starting out a new adventure making knives and as a "new" Dad. Our other children were 10 ans 12 and we thought we were done changing diapers. lol Making 3 Haas boys. Randy Jr. and Hunter H. Haas and myself.

Currently Hunter is 10 years old, and has a large knife collection.. last count 42. He can talk knives with the best of them. Its fun, hearing him when someone comes over and he gets rolling, Playing show and tell.. He has been carrying and using knives from the early age of 5. And currently has a rotation of a few favorite EDC knives. :D

I have great hope that one day soon Hunter joins us in the shop. Recently, he has been telling me that I need to get him a CNC machine so he can make some awesome HHH folders!! lol I always say, if your gona dream, dream big, and Hunters a dreamer!! :)

Thanks for askin.
Randy

hahaha when I was a 10 year old, I would not have asked for a CNC machine! That is awesome.

Dont let him fool you guys, he gave you part of the truth in saying that this knife adventure started about the time his "favorite son" Hunter H Haas was born and then all of a sudden he has a knife shop named HHH Custom knives. I wasnt fooled for a second but reluctantly after years of counseling and time to come to terms with not being his favorite son anymore i agreed to come work in the shop. And i will have all the glory until the day he buys Hunter that CNC machine then i think i will have to dig up my therapists number again.

Trust me, he's the one who's gonna need it. My daughter currently is in practice with my wife and there are days when it is best to find small dark places to retreat to. :rofl2:
