The UPS guy just dropped off 105 pounds of Sycamore, Koa and a few others.
Fresh from getting stabilized at K&G.
Now it's time to get these cleaned up and ready to go.
Looks like no sleep for the next several days.

I will post some photos as I am getting these cleaned up.
It will be fun for me because all of this is really really really nice stuff. You'll see.

Some of the sycamore will have burl, blackline and other weird stuff.
And a lot of different looks with the koa.

Only if you have a fast trigger finger.

Wow, that looks promising.

I think its the type of wood I would design the damascus to go with the wood. I have an itchy trigger finger, but I must have a hole in my wallet:(

I am working on getting the sycamore cleaned up first.
I thought I had more than this.

Man I am glad I am not a vender here, you get wood faster than they can do anything with it. (I know after I typed it I read it.)

It's been a long day so I am stopping now.
My brain stopped working a while ago and my body is following suit.
Here are a few I have sanded finer and sprayed with a light coat of lacquer.
Pretty unusual colors and really unusual patterns.

Not everyone will like this stuff. I like it, but then I like the weird and unusual stuff.

Man, I love that tight feathery grain to those!

A fine basket weave damascus to go with some of that sycamore, perhaps?
