Stefan, You know I am a BURL JUNKY!! :) These buckeye slabs are beautiful. and very solid for the species. Will be doing more with same damascus pattern and buckeye burl. Looking at doing a batch of Suji's and some petty's and some boning knives, and some.. etc..etc.. :) Then switching damascus patterns and handle material and starting over!! Should be fun!!!!

Im honored to be a part of it, The folks over at Butcher and Baker are a great bunch.. I see them going far with the site.. Pierre myself and I think a couple others are working with them.. As well as many other talented and awesome atrists and craftsmen and woman. So in a nut shell. I agree, Its gona be awesome!!

I hear there working on a HTML site map and a few other web page changes etc.. All part of the progression of starting a new web store I guess. There also gona be offering many other great additions to the inventory. So expect to see new items regularly and continue to check in for the one off items and short runs etc. :)

Big plans.. :spin chair: I cant say what direction we will go next. I think I will suggest more Gyutos, :D Because I think they should always have a 240mm in stock! But I can see having some Suiji's and Petty's and a boning/filet knife as well as a few other profiles. Possibly a veggie knife, and a bread knife could be a great option as well..

Let me ask you all a question.. What profiles would you like to see in the store? :2cents:

NoScript. It turns those ridiculous "man I miss Geocities" pages back into this. (http://www.souppilgrim.com/orglif/butcher.jpg) I love pwning pretentious site designers before even loading their site!

Sorry if this is a silly question, I don't know much about high end damascus blades, but is there a core steel in these and the damascus is cladding or is the entire blade damascus right down to the cutting edge?

Beautiful work too by the way.

Cheers,
Josh

Its a mix of steels that is the entire blade. Check out his website to see some billets they do, Very nice work.
