That last pic looks like a crack in the ferul. Is that just some thing in the horn or is it a seam?

Great looking knife. looks very sweet. How does that modified d feel in hand?

It is a white growth line in the horn,it is very common in buffalo horn and I never had any come apart or split on me yet.It feel great in my hand, very comfortable in a pinch grip.

Beautiful. Profile is just about perfect. Going to be getting in touch soon for a blade of my own. Brought one of my vintage sabs to work today and was thinking how nice it would be to have a custom with a similar profile in a better carbon steel.

Another beauty Mario.
Great looking knife.

Now you have me thinking....
Is there such a thing as having too many gyutos?
I mean like if they are different sizes or different handles, several is ok, isn't it?
Just wondering.

When you have 35+ then you can say "I have to many"

All joking aside it is nice to have different edge profiles, grinds, and steel types to "round off" a collection.

I can do a custom with a similar profile in a better Stainless steel.

I would LOVE to try to work with SB1/niolox,I have some interest in this steel but that stuff is not easy to come by.

I'm not in a rush or anything. Maybe we could source some. Wouldn't know where to begin looking maybe someone on the forum knows where it can be found.
