The more I look, the more I want one. I have two knives coming in the mail. After I try those and decide what to keep, I'm selling a bunch of knives so that I can buy a Kato and some audio equipment.

Are the 270's exactly 270 or do they run a bit long (like Heiji, Yoshikane, etc. which are 280)?

I hope they are.
I received mine a few weeks back, and have been blown away by how good a knife that is.

I got the 270 gyuto this week and I love it... Must decide between the petty or sujihiki next!

I feel a strange force pulling me along ... :cheeky:

Maxim - do you remember where Kato's workshop is? Looks like the countryside. Which city/town or prefecture?
