Whats cooking? **** Making something fine and fancy?** Just plain good? Show us!

First time frittata on Mother’s Day with the family. Mushrooms and fire roasted tomatoes… everyone said it was a keeper.

After taking a Rocky mountain spring skiing trip at 9600-13000 ft altitude, we returned home to sea level Florida and I guess the extra oxygen gave me the energy to have another pizza fest. Started with the usual Margherita test pie, then a sausage and mushroom and finally a reduced cream with...

A recreation of our Easter Sunday dinner with the family. It was served buffet style so I didn’t get any pics. Grilled rosemary and garlic lamb rib medallions, roasted baby potatoes, roasted fennel, Greek salad.

    All Rectangle March?

Love mine! Does everything a cleaver should do.... excels at smashing garlic and is my go to for rock chopping herbs. I semi-polished out the matte finish stripe otherwise it's stock.

    Pizza oven.....

As someone who thoroughly enjoys both the process and the eating of good homemade pizza, I don't want to be on my deathbed thinking... "ya know, I really should have gotten that pizza oven". That said, my relatively entry level Roccbox is just about perfect. The new Arc looks nice but I find the...

Yeah, 50's with high winds is not all that bad, just when you get used to 75+ it kind of sucks . BTW I came here 17 years ago from New Jersey so I know about winter weather.

A relatively (for south Florida) cold and blustery day deserves a hearty stew... here's a lamb stew with potatoes and pearl onions. Lots left over for a few more days and even more in the freezer for future leftovers.

A few pics from the family Christmas gathering... the 2 prime rib roasts (6lb and 4.5lb) done low and slow reverse sear. Cooked faster than I would have thought and the slices were a very consistent degree of doneness.

I was thinking about the upcoming holidays, reminiscing from when I was a kid, going to my grandparents and aunt's house in Bellerose, Queens, NY for the family Christmas feast. One of my favorite foods there was the Jewish Corn Rye Bread they always had in their house. There's no actual "corn"...

I made a nice little appetizer yesterday before the big Thanksgiving meal... toasted baguette slices with fresh mozzarella, basil and blistered grape tomatoes de-glazed with balsamic vinegar.

Even though I'm 100% Polish, living in south Florida means there is a lot of Cuban influence in the cuisine here. This is a grilled Mohito marinated mahi mahi (dark rum, mint, shallots, olive oil, sugar, lime juice). Black beans and rice as a side and a medley of grilled veggies rounded out a...

Had another pizza fest last night... Margherita, sausage and Cremini mushrooms, grilled zucchini and Cremini mushrooms with pesto sauce, and Cremini mushrooms, caramelized onions and Provalone cheese with a reduced cream sauce (my fav).

We invited my step son and his fiance over for dinner a week before their wedding. I had decided on making meatballs so I went on a bit of a meatball marathon... 60 meatballs later (with 40 in the freezer) they were simmering in the sauce. With a bottle of Montepulciano D'abruzzo, it made for a...
