(These two below were purchased in Japan by a friend in the US Navy and I'm still trying to find their names.

9" Gyuto with Stainless Damascus and VG 10 Core, purchased at AG Russell Knife Show, my first Japanese Knife.
•I have a collection of Damascus and Wootz antique daggers made in Persia, India, Turkey, the Caucasus etc. Many have grips made of Walrus Ivory and are really objects of beauty with engraving. I never sharpen or use these antiques.
* Various French and German Chef Knives and paring knives and a variety of Factory boning knives made of cheap stainless that were machine sharpened by previous owners.
* Handmade hunting knives in both O2 and D2 with various types of natural and micarta handles. Also, the usual EDC knives made of mostly 1095, ZDP-189, W2 and other steels. I try to avoid Chinese knives.
Sharpening Gear - Shapton, Chosera and King Stones from 500 up to 6000 grit. Course, Medium and Fine Diamond Stones and Spyderco Ceramic Med. & Fine Stones. Varioius leather stops with black and green chromium oxide and looking to get some .25 or less diamond sprays.
