    I don’t understand how you guys judge a knife if you haven’t even used it. The profile of the handle is really nice. One of my faves. But it’s all personal preference.

    Both are really nice, you’ll be happy with either, but they do feel different to each other. The takamura is slightly thinner behind the edge and tapers to a thinner tip.

    Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Ha yeah im always on the lookout for my next knife, Shigefusa definitely near the top of the list along with a few others. So many to choose from! Although im more then happy with my tanaka.
