    We got this set as a gift around 5 years ago for our wedding. Our wedding took place in Europe so this looks like maybe German, not sure ? :) Cleaning out the basement and wondering if this is worth anything, or is it some Chinese set made to look high end :)

    Thank you all, went out today and bought King 1k/4k from LeeValley for $45. Will give this a shot, price seemed good for a beginner to learn on something. I'm off to youtube to watch some how to's :)

    Which stones for newbie to get (Canada)

    I have 3 Tojiro knives and I tried various cheap sharpening handheld sharpeners but I give up and want to get water stones and do it properly. Can you guys let me know where would be best place to buy whatever I need with delivery in Canada ? I would like to stay under $100 if possible.

    Ahh, you guys keep messing with my head :) One day I wanna switch the knives, next day I wanna get Spyderco, next day I'm thinking maybe give the wet stones a try. Gotta sleep on it and check pricing on wet stones in Canada again.
