Ok, a pair of pairing knives paired...
First, a 4 1/2" sheepsfoot blade of CPM 154, 416 stainless bolsters
Stabilized maple burl scales with mosaic pins
black and white vulcanized fiber spacers
and just to be a pita to myself, I mortised them.
Second, a 4" blade, traditionaly shaped
same construction as above, but with Honduran Rosewood.
And the pair of parers paired...
Thanks for looking, hope you enjoy them!!
Beautiful, both of them. I love Hond. rosewood, and the shape is more what I am used to, so this would be my personal preference, but the redwood one is also excellent.
That second one in rosewood is stunning.
Oh man they're nice, I love the liners!
Glad you like 'em!! The liners are a chore, but worth it. It's tedious when they are so small, not quite the same as a 300 suji!
To late to go western on my parer and petty?
Never too late, Řyvind. Pierre will make you another pair with western handles....in six months or so... Moaaaahahahahaaaa :D

You got some real lookers there, Pierre :)
Pierre: stick to the plan on the first batch :)
Hopefully they turned out like we wanted :)
