A little french flair...
This one is reminiscent of the Sabitier chef knife, the bolster is tucked closer to the handle, so no issues with stones.
50mm high at the heel
250mm cutting edge
2.5mm spine at the bolster
1.5mm mid spine
.8mm 1 inch from the tip, give or take of course...
CPM 154 @ hrc 62, very slightly convex ground hand rubbed finish
3/16" hidden pins, and a simple center mosaic
Scales are cocobolo
Hope you like it!!
Very nice, Pierre, I really like that cocobolo.
Awesome work again!
Loving the sleek look of the blade!
Looks great -- nice blade profile!
240mm Western Chef
Ut-oh, there is an irregularity in the line just below the bolster!
Already got it! But thanks!
I think that must be one of the most perfect westerns i've ever seen. The profile, the mokume bolster, the ironwood, simply stunning. Everything about it seems just perfect.
I think i need to start saving my pennies.
