    I have one and personally quite like it. Holds stones securely doesn't move around due to weight and stripping along the bottom. Has been a good solution for me so far.

    this has been an interesting thread to follow as I agree with the "old school" mentality but wear great socks! As for the OP try under armor or similar beneath your coat it helps to keep ya cool.

    I fully agree with the abundance of nicer knives...

    I fully agree with the abundance of nicer knives in a lower price range but for what they offer in better performance they sorely lack in marketing and brand recognition that the Shun does have.
