VERY WELL SAID! I don't have near the experience of a lot of the makers you named but people put their faith in me and get excited when I do make them a knife and because of people like that it keeps me going.

Ed Caffery has helped me a TON! I havn't had the chance to go and take lessons in person but the guidance he has given me over the past year or two has taught me sooo much! There are a lot of guys out there you can't go wrong with learning from!
Hmm my drunken chicken is kind of weird. Whole chicken on top of a beer can thats half full with spices added then put on the pit. Not really a marinade but does kind of the same thing
Im probably gonna order some! Between sharpening knives and making or rehandling knives those would be super handy. Hmm 12"x 2 1/2" and I could always cut them shorter and staple end and under the choil area. Thanks for that link!!!
Hmm wonder if some cheap flexible tubing would work. The stuff like at home depot in the sink area. Im pretty sure you could pick up some 1/2' or somethign fairly cheap.
Honestly all of the methods are probably a LOT stronger then you would imagine.
