Thanks! About the thinning, the blade itself is thin and even able to bend without any effort if you tried. Is thinning still needed?

Hey guys, apparently my friend has been using this kiwi nakiri for some years and asked me to sharpen it. Problem is that I have no idea what it should look like, its a cheap knife so any help or correction needed to restore it is welcomed. Plus I get to practice on my sharpening technique...
