I bought this Ichimonji deba awhile ago and have found it is too big for any fish I work with. I got a good deal and will pass it on for same. I've not sharpened it and don't think previous owner did either. Black oval handle.

$225 will have it shipped Priority CONUS.

As best I can tell from website Ichimonji only offers the 240 in white steel. Anyone that can add additional information please do so.

What is the handle material please ? it looks like stained ho but please confirm

Very tempting, not practical but just something you just want for no logical reason !!
 
It is a size large. If it doesn't move I may try it alligator hunting. :cool2: As best I can tell the handle is stained Ho. Exterior of ferrule is plastic. It did not come with a saya.
 
great deal for a huge piece of steel. go get yourself a summer job on a salmon boat
