First post here on this forum but long time Japanese Kitchen Knife fan. I recently purchased this interesting sheathed knife and am unable to identify it. It seems to be Paulownia wood sheath and handle but I may be wrong. The blade is quite thin and 103MM long. There is a chop mark on the Blade but I can not read Japanese - if that is where this came from. Overall very sharp and will be very useful. Any information fellow forum goers can share would be greatly appreciated.
