Actually, they're part of an exhibition of Phoenician culture (1500-300 BCE) at the Hecht Archeological Museum in Haifa, Israel. While I've seen a lot of pre-Bronze-age flints, these are the first I've seen where the handle and means of attachment were so well preserved. They're a little more recent and non-metalic because they had to be waterproof (those Phoenicians were sailors). And it's not completely unlike wa-handled designs, which themselves probably date back a thousand years or so. . . .

Photo uploaded successfully this time so you have a chance to see an EDC circa 1500 BC, waterproof too since it's flint. The stag handle in back ain't too different from what Ed Fowler might have used on one of his babies. . . .
