So was just thinking about how all the 'old' knives on here seem to be forgecrafts, sabs etc. So who has some old pics of japanese blades. Obviously they have been around for a considerable amount of time, but what about the western world? Is it reasonable to assume that my recent aquisitions (hattoris, ealy) will last me a lifetime in a home environment?
