Gonna let this one go after a couple years of good service.
I don't use it much these days and plan to replace it with a 270 yanagiba at some point.
Overall good condition, the are some mismatched scratch patterns on the ura side from cleaning out patina. There is also a little darker spot that looked like deep patina.
I hit it with a fine rust eraser and it's still slightly there but doesn't look like trouble.
Other than that there was a very small bit of the tip that went missing but its just about worked itself back to normal after a few regular sharpening sessions. It's sporting a decent finish from takashima awasedo and micro beveled on a gesshin 6k. Ura side is also from the 6k.
There is a small crack on the bottom half of the handle starting from the ferrule.
It hasn't gotten any bigger since Pesky pointed it out to me at the WCG lol.
Handle treated with beeswax and mineral oil once a month or so.
The knife has been polished above the shinogi line and while it's shiny you can still detect a scratch pattern.
I think this would a great first yanagiba for someone same as it was for me.
The cheapest I've seen one recently was $300 new.
How does $180 shipped and paypal conus sound?
If anyone is interested I'll get back to pm's in the order they came in.
Thanks for looking
