Not too sure Where I stand on this one.
One hand, Kyle was an American soldier (successful at that from what it sounds), but that guy has got a lot of lives under his belt. But the circumstances of his death, however ironic, don't seem "fitting"?

I'm really scratching my head on this one. Will make for halftime discussion tonight for certain.

How did he "deserve" to be murdered by an acquaintance/friend? That's some seriously messed-up thinking. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

Most anyone who has been in combat will tell they would be goddamn happy to have a sniper of CPO Kyle's ability watching their six. He may have taken a lot of lives, but he saved a lot of Americans from death.

As Carlos Hathcock famously said, "Hell, anybody would be crazy to like to go out and kill folks. . . . I never did enjoy killing anybody. It's my job. If I don't get those bastards, then they're going to kill a lot of these kids. That's the way I look at it."

    RIP, Chief.

The only place to "stand" is against first degree murder.

Who gave a gun to an unstable victim of PTSD?

So expensive training, just to be shot by fellow citizen.
