    Hi from North Dakota

    Hello everyone,

I've learned a bunch lurking but I think it is due time to introduce myself. I'm Dan and I have recently crossed into high quality kitchen knives. It was going to happen sooner or later as I love my fixed blades. Great place you have here and I hope to be a helpful addition to your forum.

Here is my collection so far...

10V Trailing point by Big Chris
    Hiromoto 150mm Utility
Artifex in M390 reground by me to .010 behind the edge
Moritaka Santoku in Aogami Super Steel (hand sanded everything to 400grit for now)
M390 Chef Knife (ground by a friend and I did the cocobolo scales)
    Kikuichi TKC 240mm
Zensho/Yoshikane SKD Kasumi Gyuto 210 mm (just ordered today)

Welcome. The handle on the m390 looks nice.

I haven't lived the life I wanted, just the lives I needed too at the time.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I'm in North Dakota per my job (USAF). Not a bad place at all and the winters allow me more time in the kitchen

When I was in getting stationed at Minot was considered worse than going to jail.
