I'm late to the party, and read through the countless pages of ideas and plans with gusto. I like the wood/g10 combo on the handle, but curious as to whether it'll be slab sided or contoured at all? I ran across this rehandled forgecraft somewhere here, and think the subtle swell & taper would be quite comfortable. Apologies if this has been answered, but I can't remember if I've read it along the way. Either way, I'm excited to be in line to get one.

The handle looks great.....but, mind you I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination, isn't the blade really really short?

That was made with a blank, to give a rough idea of the handle design and layout.

This one was designed for doing a fine mince on really tough chives... One at a time, so you could apply maximum cutting action, with full leverage applied.

In fact, depending on how pleased everyone is wit their chef knives, we are actually thinking about making a second knife, based almost 100% off of this one, called the Chive Shave, or Chive Talkin'.

Ok I was just wondering. I thought it could also be the product as shown with 1/2 down as a deposit with the blade being attached as the final payment is made.
