    Just thinned & polished, great little knife, some shrinkage on the scales ( pretty common on shig westerns)

    I'm surprised to still see this here. I'm starting to feel like the Shig is losing favor in this court? Oh, tis a sad sad time. I personally adore my Shig. I still recall taking it out of the box for the first time and scrambling for something in my home kitchen to slice. It just fell through that banana. And I mean fell, by its own weight and right. No push or slide needed. Like it wanted its post-shift midnight snack as much as I!

    Wow, this Shig looks new. Perfect condition. I prefer wa though.

    I also like Shigefusa a lot, but maybe many people know it and so not much more to say. I'm sure it's still a favourite knife.
