    I recalled someone (Maxim I think) said that Shigefusa would not make western kasumi under Shigefusa label anymore. It would have to be under Kiya, or Yosihide brand.

    Love my 240mm yo gyuto.

    That saddens me. A 270 kasumi yo gyuto has been one of my unicorn knives for a long time. But I'm a long while off getting one yet...

    That said Yoshihide would be fine too.
