A Bite of China
I have long realized that this forum is Nippo-centric but there's great stuff out of China too, most of which pre-dates Japan. This past week we had the pleasure of hosting a Chinese student from Agnes Scott College at our home while she shadowed my wife at work. Her last night with us she showed me this video series: http://jishi.cntv.cn/jlsjsdzg/classp...3/101842.shtml. There are seven episodes. The link is for the first one. She narrated for me but the production is of extremely high quality and I think you would agree is very enjoyable even not understanding Chinese.
She also sent me a link for the same series in English but she said she could not vouch for the quality of the translation. http://tv.sohu.com/20121012/n354734704.shtml
Just wanted to share.
Good to see more interest developing on the series. I posted ealier thread about it here: http://www.kitchenknifeforums.com/sh...-bite-of-China
In episode 5 titled Secrets of the Kitchen, there are a lot of very cool cleaver action through out.
I must have been taking a sabbatical when you posted. Sorry for double posting on the subject. But some extra link then.
