Howdy from a noob!
Found the forums Googling info on how to finish the Sabatier blanks I just bought on eBay. I found Devin's cool WIP thread where he finished his. I had no idea there was so much more additional work required. Looks like I have a lot to learn!
I'm an avid foodie, home cook, home-brewer and sausage-maker/charcutier and have been teaching myself knife sharpening with a Lansky set and my Heinkel 4-star knives. I've always wanted some of the old carbon Sabatiers nd this seemed like a less-expensive route. Oh well! New hobby. SWAMBO will be so pleased.
