    Budget Carbon Wa-gyuto

Looking for a $100ish Migaki Carbon Wa-gyuto. Any ideas?

    210-240
    Right Handed
    Racket/Pinch grip
    Thrust/Push Cutting

i would prefer just a plain finish. Not Tsuchime or KU

    Thanks!

Sugimoto 210 wa gyuto. Last I saw it was sold out, but it is less than $100 new and with a little work on can be a great knife.

I was looking at these too. Would be down if it was a carbon gyuto

That link that schanop posted is for a Swedish stainless knife - at least that's what comes up when I click.

There are a many more yo gyuto options that fit your specs than there are wa gyutos in that price range.

    Here's a Ichimonji-Kichikuni 210 white #2 clad gyuto f/ BlueWayJapan, but it's a bit higher.

You can't go wrong with a Yusuke white #2 210 gyuto either, but again higher priced.

Huh, did you read thoroughly? stainless steel version is this one : http://www.jshoppers.com/shohin.asp?...=10&bunrui3=10

Carbon is W00006R1, Stainless is W0005R1.

There is a typo on the page, may be that's why you read it wrong.
