Just wondering if anyone can figure it out from the kanji.



I asked the owner and he said it was like "sa-burn" or something like that...he wasn't exactly sure.
 
dare say you'll need better pics if anyone is going to have any chance. the only thing i can kind of see is the top one but it just looks like '1/2'
 
Looks like the shinogi line has been entirely ground down as well.... :( Might be the out of focus pic.... i hope....

Gin 3 is a Hitachi stainless that is used in many very good knives in a wide range of pricepoints (from Hiromoto's G3 series to the Tadatsuna inox series).

I think it is pronounce Sabun.
It is a name so it may be pronounced other way.
I am not familiar with this brand name.

Gin San Ko (Silver No. Three) as in Hitachi Silver Paper Number Three.
