We haven't seen a lot of new knives from Mario lately.
But .......I wanted to let you know that he is alive and kicking.

This showed up in the mail today.
I know my photos stink but they should give you an idea.

I tried to take an edge photo but when I turned the knife sideways it disappeared.

I can't wait to take it home and cut something.

Awesome Mark. Great lookin cutter! :) I talked to Mario a couple weeks ago. Its good to see hes getting some knives done!

This is my second knife from Mario.
The 1st one went as a gift to my son inlaw so I never got to use it.
This one is for me. My photos don't show it off very well but it is a beauty.
I am very very happy with this knife.

Are you using it to chip out the grout between the tiles in the pictures?

Very funny Monkey Boy.
That is not tile in the photo. It is a piece of cardboard with texture paint.
The French call it a faux finish.
To translate for the less than literate primates, that means false.

Regardless of you spending your time painting cardboard (must be nice being your own boss!), the knife is beautiful. I think Stefan said it, "No matter how many times I see Koa in a handle..."

The handle wood is walnut and blackwood.

Does that count as strike 2?
One more strike and you get the special package I told you about.
