This is some Koa that came from a friend that I have never met in person.
The way we know each other is because of a shared fondness for good Koa and custom knives.
Every once in a while I would email photos when I got really good Koa, and he would one up me by sending photos of pieces in his stash.
Other than that we have very little in common.

A few months ago this friend offered me a portion of his Koa stash at a reasonable price.
This is some of the Koa he had been collecting over the years.
I think I am going to owe this guy favors for the rest of my life.

This is some of the Koa that just came back from getting stabilized.
Seeing the wood before sanding, I knew it was going to be good.
But this is even better than I had expected.

Well i'm drinking vodka and got my salary a few days ago... let's see how this evening plays out. :D

My apologies to anyone who tried to call or send PMs.
When I got to work today there were a number of missed calls and messages.

Some of these blocks were already spoken for.
But........
I am just starting to list the available pieces in the web store.
Even the ugliest piece looks good.

The blocks from the first photo are in the store now.
This link will take you to the Koa.
I have photographed the blocks from photo #2 and #3.
I am in the process of adding them now.

The newest blocks start on the 2nd page.
But there are some really good ones on the 1st page as well.
