Buon Giorno
Let me begin by saying you guys have something great here. I did a lot of lurking over at KF, but never posted because I wasn't sure I had anything to offer. Besides, my grandfather always told me it was better to keep my mouth shut and my ears open. Well... it payed off.
I learned a ton, and have started to amass a working collection of knives, some stones (purchased from Dave, of course!), and a beautiful board (from the Boardsmith, of course!!). Next up will hopefully be some custom handles, more steel, and another board.
Anyway, I simply wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me so far, both directly and indirectly. The knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to KKF! Sounds as if you've a good start on a collection.

OK, so for starters I currently have:
Ichimonji TKC Gyuto (240mm)
Mizuno Tanrenjo Akitada Hontanren Wa Gyuto (240mm)
Watanabe Pro Kuro-uchi Nakkiri (150mm)
Hiromoto AS Petty (150mm)
JCK Kagayaki AS Petty (120mm)
Wusthof Bread Knife
Variety of Wusthof Knives I purchased years ago
The Mizuno is amazing, and feels like an extension of me when I use it. Just received the Watanabe, though, and I'm very impressed so far.
