    Thanks man. This stag was not stabilized and is treated to add the deep color. Heres a picture of it B4 I started sanding on it. It was a uniform color everywhere.

    I will say all stag is not equal. Like all stabilized woods are not equal. I know you can relate to that statement. This is true old stock sambar and has been pro treated and stored properly for the mast 10+++ years which does make a huge difference.
