    It's about time you slacker!

    Congrats Dawn-the-win!
Can't wait to see some more work from you, and maybe a passaround or 2.

Haha, there's always someone who knows my middle name somehow. Maybe I said it some time on this forum and forgot...

Here's my fourth knife from January 2012. It was essentially the birth of the style that I stuck with. The handle shape was really by accident; I wanted to start off with an octagon shape, but I made the handle too narrow, so it ended up kind of like a diamond shape. I also wanted a dramatic taper towards the front of the handle (something I saw in some of Dave Martell's handles that I really liked). The result is that funky angular shape that I now use for pretty much all the knives now - it just happened to look OK

    And aaabsolutely not

Of course, many of you have already seen (and tried) the prototype of May 2012. Here's just a refresher picture. You can really see the handle geometry; lately I've been trying to replicate that lighting but I still have to play around with it.

But that's old news. You've seen that. What you might not have seen is the little experiment I named Whittle Woe. I'm working on version 2.0.

The Whittle Woe is pretty neat.
