Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone can help me identify this Japanese knife. It is a Hakata Bocho supposedly manufactured by Kawamura in Seki. The problem is I cannot find any information about this manufacturer and I just want to make sure it is a legit blade given the price. I am trying to find someone to help me translate the engraving and will post that once I find out.

Thanks!

If this helps with the identification, a very kind person helped me with the translation:

Nihonkoku
Kawamura saku

Made by Kawamura, Japan
