    Petty! 1095 High Carbon

Heres one we finished up this week.

Its a 1095 High Carbon blade RC 61

Handle is Huon Pine and Ironwood, Wa

This one is marked ER for my friend and fellow knife Knut Eric. He and I worked together to grind and heat treat and handle this one.

That knife really looks like it means business. That huon pine is stunning. Great work.

Thanks Dusty. This one does mean business! The taper on this blade is just awesome!

I LOVE the look of the Huon when finished. Its amazing material and its subtly beauty is so nice!

MY GOODNESS....... Randy, your ability to "craft" some of the coolest, nicest looking, functional knives I have ever seen is absolutely amazing. All I can say is WOW!!! Sushi! yummmmm...... freshly cured, applewood smoked pork & sauasages....... yup, middle of July.

I most certainly don't post often in custom makers threads, but I am impressed!
That is a beautiful knife, and handle.

Randy, I think this is the most conservative looking knife you have made.
At least from what I have seen. It looks great!
