First up is a Blazen 240 gyuto in very nice shape. Fit and finish is quite nice, spine is rounded and polished and the magnetic saya is in exceptionally good shape. There are some light scratches on the blade from use, but this knife has been lightly used and well taken care of.
$210, shipping and Paypal fees included.

Next is a barely used Gesshin Kagero 240 gyuto. This knife is also in excellent condition, has a nicely rounded spine and choil, and pretty nicely finished handle. Very easy to sharpen, and takes a great edge. This gyuto has a fairly flat profile, and a slightly convex grind, and cuts very well. I didn't use it enough to comment on the edge retention. $210 includes shipping and Paypal fees.

That Kagero looks really good. Bolster looks awesome: I like how the sides are flattened and angled... looks good design and execution overall. Do you still have the soft case they come with? Really intriguing price point too on these knives... I've been curious about them for awhile.

Yes, the zippered case that Jon ships with the Kagero is included. The bolster design is kinda cool. The handle is on the narrow/flatter side compared to some. That's in line with the differences between these two. Kagero is flatter, pointier, and slimmer (although actually thicker at the spine), while the Blazen is curvier, taller and has a more rounded handle.
Both very good knives with very good steel and different personalities.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I bought a Kagero about a month back and it's my new favorite knife. Retention in a pro kitchen has been fantastic. The knife cuts really well. Heel is just a bit on the shorter side, but I like that. GL with the sale.

I owned the knife the Kagero is based on, and it was wonderful. I miss it. The Kagero should be even better. That geometry speaks for itself, I think. The Blazen looks great, too. I'd buy both if I had money for it.

The Blazen is a fantastic knife. Takes an excellent edge and holds it.

What was that? Looks like a TKC / carb nxt, of which I have a 270.

I'm not sure I'm allowed to say, but it's certainly not a TKC, at all. Think stainless clad knives with very hard stainless cores, that look exactly like that (other than the geometry, as these are product improved).

You guys must hate dancing and line-ups at ball games.
