I just added these four blocks of Amboyna Burl to the Natural Hardwoods section of our web store.
This is Natural Amboyna Burl - It has not been stabilized.
Since Amboyna Burl is a hard/dense wood it can be used either natural or stabilized.
I am not stabilizing the wood from this burl because it has a high oil content and tends to darken when stabilized.
The finish I like best is a few coats of wipe on Danish Oil, then rub down with extrafine steel wool. Followed by another coat or two of oil, then paste wax and hand buff with a soft cloth.
This link will take you directly to the Amboyna Burl Blocks.
There are only these four blocks so if you get a "product not found" message, that means they have all sold.
These are the four new blocks.
