    What's wrong with my knife?

I noticed a little flaw while sharpening my knife the first time, and today sharpening it again it seems more noticeable. Looks almost like a hollow spot on the steel?

Can't see it that well on my phone. Might be an overgrind. What brand of knife is it?

It's probably a welding flaw or a split from heat treating.

    Weird!
Looks almost like delamination, but its down past the cladding. Maybe some type of impurity in the steel?

For anyone trying to get a better view (and using a pc), you can right click on the image and pick "open in new tab"
Then hold down ctrl on the keyboard and scroll your mouse wheel to enlarge the image.
