Yesterday a new Shigefusa bacame a member of my knife family.
I ordered a custom thinner 270mm suji, from Hide's Export.

the knife is fantastic, thin great geometry as always with Shigefusa, perfect F&F, easy to sharpen.

yep, and on top of that I got a few NOS Henckels Fridour Razors to add to my collection, pretty nice week indeed.
 
Niiiice. My gyuto was just finished, but I'm away on a trip, so I won't have it for around 2 more weeks I think.

mine are also rare wedge(I did not know they exist even) and one with very fancy spine work not like the scalloped ones we all know.

That is so badass. Lock your doors and windows at night, cause I might not be able to fight the urge.
