Mizuno Blue DX Yanagiba experience?
Really thinking of trying one out, and just wanted to know if anyone here has any feedback from usage? I'm curious to know if they run a bit short like their Blue#2 gyutos?
I've always used Masamoto White steel yanagis but recently got a Mizuno gyuto and I'm loving it. Just got really interested in Blue steel now, and especially their Blue #1 option.

I'd try and get in touch with Salty, he's used several Mizuno Blue yanagis.

I have a Mizuno Blue#1 300mm yanagi. Great knife, steel has a very hard feel to it and takes a great edge. Like using a big razor. Did not seem short to me.

How was the original bevel? Flat, or very close to? What was the fit and finish like? Any pictures?
