The event was a great success! There were so many people I felt like I was drowning.
Setting up our bar. We had champagne, beer from Brooklyn Brewery and many soft drinks.
Shenanigans during set up. lol
The glory that was our Togiharu cake!
Our whole roasted hog that just came out of the ovens of Blue Smoke NYC.
It was over 35 inches!
Some sushi from Takahachi restaurant (also known as the restaurant I tried to bring Theory and sachemallison to for udon.)
Our lovely ladies serving some delicious tofu.
Amazing buns from Jum Mum NYC in St. Marks Place.
Surprise chef Lee Anne Wong making mini okonomiyaki for our guests.
It was so tasty!
And so we begin!
Browsing knives with great beer.
People got to pick which part of the hog they wanted.
Raffle time! During chef's night out we raffled out $300 worth of $50 Korin gift cards donated by Culinary Agents NYC.
We also raffled off two Togiharu knives and an ion strong wine glass gift set.
Cucumber and unagi
I'm in there somewhere... I swear.
Wiggling around to serve food.
There was a line out the door to get in.
Cutting the cake with one of our chef guests.
Then I peeled off the fondant and cut the rest of it. lol
So many people omg.
Winding down at 3am.
That night we also said good bye to one of our beloved staff.
I had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people and had a great time.
I hope one of these days someone from KKF will come join us!
Wow looks like a great time. I'm glad to see some headhunters are giving to the cause. (after googling culinary agents, I came up with them being headhunters)
Chewie's the man.
That looks like it would have been a lot of fun!! Unfortunately I'm about 2000 or so miles away. I'd have love to have attended .
