    Rosewood Burl Blocks from Belize

I was kind of nervous about buying this burl because it is some of the most expensive wood I have purchased.
But.....it sure turned out to be nice stuff.
These blocks were cut from a chunk of Rosewood burl that a woodworker brought back from Belize about 20 years ago.
It is some of the best Rosewood that I have seen in person.

If you want to look at the individual pieces, just click on the photo to go where they are located in the store.
The group photo makes them look a couple shades lighter than they look in person.

On a kitchen knife I thought this wood would look good with a Blackwood ferrule and end cap if it is a wa handle.
    Just my 2 cents.

Looks like just one block left.
I will cut and post the rest of the blocks from this burl tomorrow.
